Welcome to Neeto Studio

Neeto Studio is just me, Dominik, and my partner, Seoyoung. We’re both developers who got tired of seeing the same cookie-cutter template websites everywhere. We wanted to build sites that actually feel good to use, clean, minimal, and something people want to show off. That’s really how this started.

We met at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, in the Software Development program. Most of that time was spent trying to fix broken code and asking, “Why is this not working??” every few minutes. Working on projects together became normal for us pretty quickly, and we realized we make a really solid team.

I’ve been building websites since high school. My first real paid project was for an automotive detailing company, and I designed the whole thing in the back seat of a car during a family road trip. It turned out surprisingly good, and that’s when it clicked for me that this could be more than a hobby. Since then, I’ve worked with a lot of clients through KB Marketing and earlier jobs, and the passion hasn’t worn off at all.

For me, building websites is something I can’t seem to stop loving. I get really into the details. The layout, spacing, motion, typography, all the tiny things most people don’t notice but definitely feel. I’ve always been drawn to artist portfolios, design agencies, and architecture sites because they rely on clean design and strong visual structure. That style just makes sense to me.

Seoyoung is the technical side of our duo. She’s naturally good at finding solutions to all the weird problems that show up on pretty much every project. She gets fully invested in whatever she’s working on, and a lot of the smooth functionality, interactions, and effects you see in our projects come from her digging into things until they behave the way we want. She also brings great creative taste and helps push our ideas further.

Neeto Studio is small, but we care a lot about what we make. We want our portfolio to feel impressive, not just “here are some websites,” but work that actually stands out and makes people stop scrolling. Our long-term dream is to design for the artists and creatives we look up to, and to keep levelling up our skills in minimal design, typography, and animation.

So that’s us. No big agency story, no fake corporate personality. Just two people who genuinely enjoy building websites and want to keep getting better at it.

If you want a website that stands out (or know someone who does), I’d be happy to talk.
